Official Contest Rules
Fraternity Competitions · Version 1.0 | Effective: August 19, 2026
These Official Rules apply to every fraternity competition run in the Cashout iOS application (each, a "Competition"). The prize and entry period for a specific Competition are stated on its leaderboard in the app. By participating, you accept these rules and the Cashout Terms of Service.
1. Sponsor
Competitions are sponsored and administered by Cashout Mobile LLC ("Cashout"), Columbus, Ohio. Questions about a Competition may be directed to support@cashoutmobile.com.
2. Apple Is Not a Sponsor
Apple Inc. is not a sponsor of, and is not involved in any manner with, any Competition.
3. No Purchase Necessary
No purchase is necessary to participate or to win. Cashout charges no money to participate: Dough is earned free by watching videos in the app, coupons are obtained with Dough rather than money, and redeeming a coupon at a participating merchant is free. Spending more money at a merchant does not improve a fraternity's standing — only the number of coupons redeemed counts. Where a merchant's offer states that it applies to a qualifying purchase, that purchase is made to the merchant, not to Cashout, and is not a condition of participating in or winning a Competition.
4. Eligibility
Participation is open to currently enrolled Ohio State University students who are at least eighteen (18) years old, hold a Cashout account in good standing, and are approved members of a participating fraternity. Cashout's founders, employees, and members of their immediate families are not eligible to affect a winning total. Competitions are void where prohibited by law.
5. How a Competition Works
A fraternity is created in the app by its trusted fraternity administrator using a code issued by Cashout. Students request to join, and count toward the fraternity only after the administrator approves them. During a Competition's entry period, each coupon redeemed by a fraternity's approved member adds one point to the fraternity's collective total on the Competition leaderboard. A coupon counts once, at the moment it is scanned at the merchant.
6. Winner Determination
The fraternity with the most coupon redemptions when the Competition ends wins. Cashout's server records are authoritative. Final totals are verified before any prize is awarded, which may briefly delay the result; the leaderboard displays this verification status. If two or more fraternities tie, the prize is divided equally between the tied fraternities.
7. Prize
The prize for each Competition is stated on its leaderboard in the app. Prizes are awarded to the winning fraternity chapter and coordinated through its fraternity administrator. Prizes are not transferable and may not be substituted for cash except at Cashout's sole discretion. Any taxes on a prize are the sole responsibility of the recipients.
8. Fair Play; Disqualification
Fake or duplicate accounts, automation, or any manipulation of watch or earn activity may result in disqualification of the individuals involved or, where coordinated, the entire chapter. Cashout may modify, suspend, or end a Competition where necessary to protect its integrity; material changes are announced in the app.
9. Publicity; Privacy
Fraternity chapter names and their leaderboard standings are displayed in the app. Personal information is handled under the Cashout Privacy Policy. Individual email addresses are visible only to a fraternity's administrator for roster verification and never appear on listings or leaderboards.
10. Not Affiliated with The Ohio State University
Competitions are not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by The Ohio State University.
11. Disputes; Governing Law
These rules are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
